Blogs I like

This is a list of other blogs with funny information graphics.

Blog Visual:

The idea behind this blog is very similar to my own: to analyze funny information graphics to see how they work. The blog  emphasize the fact that it is very difficult to use humor in information graphics, because we all have different kinds of humor - and we understand graphics differently. Funny infographics therefore risk to be misunderstood by some.

Creative blog:

This blog claims to have found "The 80 best infographics on the web today". Spoiler alert: Number one on the list is called "How to be a Super Hero".

Splashnology:

From purely funny information graphics like "The most commonly misunderstood lyrics in music" to more serious like "What makes good information design" - this blog has a great variety of information graphics that uses humor. You can navigate by choosing "social media", "infographics" and other categories on the front page.

Daily infographic:

As the name indicates, this blog has a new info graphic every day - and most of them are funny (or at least use humor as a tool to get attention). Almost all of the graphic have a seriousness to them and give real information, but they entertain at the same time. And what I like most about it is the fact that no graphic is posted without the author's own comment on the topic.

NerdGraph:

This blog gives a great overview of some of the funniest information graphics from the internet. At the same time, you can select a number of different categories to find the kind of information graphics you are looking for.

Best infographics:

This blog doesn't show haha-funny information graphics, but all of them use humor to tell the audience the message. The blog shows some great examples of how information graphics can get the attention of the audience by using humor - and still inform them about serious topics.

Truth Facts:

This Danish site produces two-three purely funny information graphics a week. Some of them comment current political/social issues in Denmark, but a lot of them are funny for a broad, international audience - except the fact that they are in Danish. I like them for their simplicity and sense of humor.
